FP&A Manager

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Due to the continued and rapid growth of Wise, we’re on the hunt for experienced Finance professionals to join our FP&A team in London. You’ll be part of the team that helps pilot the rocket ship.

This is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of defined FP&A workstreams supporting specific business areas. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, partner with senior stakeholders and work with FP&A leads when decisions have wider implications across Wise.

Your mission:

  • You’ll be a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, combining financial and operational insight to help them understand performance, key drivers and trade-offs, and make better decisions.

  • You’ll lead planning and forecasting for your areas, challenging assumptions, tracking performance and contributing to longer-term plans.

  • You’ll build scalable models and reporting for the areas you support, using relevant metrics and scenarios to make risks and opportunities clear.

  • You’ll assess investments, pricing, growth and efficiency initiatives through robust business cases, ROI and payback analysis, providing recommendations that help stakeholders prioritise resources.

  • You’ll lead workstreams within complex cross-functional projects and improve FP&A processes, data quality and reporting in the areas you support, sharing best practice across Finance.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Make a visible impact by helping Wise grow sustainably and supporting decisions that advance our mission of lowering prices for customers.

  • Own your own path to success, with the autonomy to make decisions, tackle varied problems and improve how we work.

  • Learn and grow. There’s a lot to be done, and you’ll work on varied challenges across Finance and the wider business.

A bit about you:

  • You’re excited by Wise’s mission and motivated by the role Finance can play in delivering it.

  • You have proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, strategic finance or finance business partnering, ideally in a complex or fast-growing organisation.

  • You have owned planning, forecasting, performance analysis or management reporting processes and understand how the P&L, cash flow and operational drivers connect.

  • You have hands-on experience building structured financial models, working with large or imperfect datasets and using scenarios and sensitivities to support decisions.

  • You have partnered with senior non-finance stakeholders, challenged assumptions and turned analysis into clear recommendations, becoming a trusted advisor.

  • You have a professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

Skills:

  • You’re analytical and structured, enjoy digging into data and can cut through complexity to identify what matters.

  • You communicate clearly and strategically, build trust and can bring different perspectives together.

  • You’re hands-on and delivery-focused, able to manage competing priorities and move work forward with limited guidance across teams and time zones.

  • You’re humble, curious and comfortable with ambiguity, while willing to challenge assumptions and be direct when needed.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in fintech, payments, technology, marketplaces or another high-growth environment, particularly across different functions, geographies or business models.

  • A working knowledge of planning tools such as Anaplan or Planful, BI tools, SQL, automation or AI-enabled finance workflows.

  • Experience reviewing the work of analysts or mentoring colleagues, whether or not you have formally managed a team.

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
