What you'll do

Run day-to-day ledger entries and period-end close work for one or more group entities under IFRS and local rules
Prepare annual financial statements, including their notes and management report, and review items such as provisions
Analyze and present financial data, while documenting your findings and answering accounting questions
Help introduce, improve and automate general ledger processes, and develop group-wide standards and work instructions
Depending on the role's scope, handle fixed assets, bank postings, cost allocations or monthly intercompany interest

What you bring

A commercial qualification plus further professional training as a certified accountant
At least three years of accounting experience, including general ledger work
Strong HGB and IFRS accounting knowledge, with confident use of HGB, AktG and IFRS standards
Working knowledge of SAP R3 finance modules, including FI, AP, AR or another listed module
Business-fluent English and strong MS Office skills

Durchführung der Tagesbuchhaltung und der Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlussbuchungen und -tätigkeiten jeweils unter Berücksichtigung der relevanten Rechnungslegungsvorschriften (IFRS und lokal)
Vorbereitung und Erstellung des Jahresabschlusses inklusive Anhangs und Lageberichts (IFRS und lokal)
Analyse und Prüfung abschlussrelevanter Sachverhalte wie Rückstellungsmeldungen
Analyse und Dokumentation von Finanzdaten einschließlich Aufbereitung und Präsentation
Erarbeitung von konzernweit gültigen Arbeitsanweisungen / Standards und Prozessbeschreibungen
