What you'll do
- Review a sample of invoices in payment proposals and handle complex accounting transactions
- Resolve difficult cases with other teams and customers or suppliers, then recommend solutions for complex requests
- Complete accounting close work monthly, quarterly and yearly, alongside regular and ad hoc assignments
- Maintain banking instructions and supporting documents, and assist with internal control checks and testing
- Join project work, share process improvements and monitor follow-up when processes are disrupted
What you bring
- At least two years of practical accounting work, with strong knowledge of accounting procedures and banking operations
- You have used SAP and can work confidently with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced English is required for this role

Accounting specialist II - Payment Proposal Check
Main activities and objectives:
- Performing payment proposal checks on a basis of selected sample of invoices
- Handling predominantly complex business transactions in the defined task field Conclusively clarifying predominantly serious and complex issues, also in collaboration with other functional units and with customers/suppliers
- Execution of monthly / quarterly / yearly closing activities
- Work on other ad hoc and regular tasks
- Communication and handling of more complex requests, proposal of solution
- Preparation and update of documentations & necessary banking work instructions
- Supporting on ICS controls and testing
- Participation in project related activities
- Addresses suggestions for process optimalization and monitoring of measures in the event of process disruptions
- Other banking relevant tasks as requested by supervisor
- Adopting a multiplier function for an assigned functional area
Experience:
- Advanced Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures; banking operations; practical experience in the field of accounting for 2 years
- Prior accounting experience of minimum 2-3 years required
Language knowledge:
- English advanced, German beneficial, any other European language beneficial
Software skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- SAP Experience required
