From the employer

We are a fast growing Fashion & Apparel consulting technology start up helping companies launch a new business, develop a business, prepare your business for growth or help you relaunch your brand.

If you are interested, here is what your role is all about:

  • Being an integral part in nurturing a growing finance and accounting team for a well-funded technology startup
  • You will handle rigorous month end and year end closing processes, provide guidance to other team members, lead consolidation, review journal entries and ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of key reconciliations under US GAAP
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of tax related filings
  • Manage outside audit and be the primary contact point for external auditors
  • Coach and mentor other junior team members

If you can accomplish the above, you have got what it takes. Realistically you need to have a CPA with strong Big 4 experience on top of this. You would be great at Quickbooks, NetSuite or any large scale ERP system with good understanding of GAAP.
