From the employer

About the Role

This is a foundational treasury role within the Finance team. As we continue with rapid growth, you will own the day-to-day mechanics of cash, optimal capital allocation, banking, and liquidity at a company that commits significant capital to compute and infrastructure. The role sits between Accounting and Strategic Finance with direct exposure to the VP of Strategic Finance. You should want to build the function, not inherit one.

Responsibilities

Cash and Liquidity Management

  • Own daily cash positioning across operating accounts and entities across various banking and treasury partners, and maintain the rolling cash forecasts

  • Own bank account administration across all entities and banking partners, including account openings and closures, signer updates, KYC requests, and portal access reviews.

  • Oversee payment controls, including approval workflows, segregation of duties, and review of high-value or unusual wires.

  • Manage the company’s investment portfolio, including money market funds, bank deposits, and separately managed accounts, in line with the investment policy, and oversee the external managers who run it.

  • Design and build an in-house investment and hedging program, including direct fixed income, compute price hedging, and yield rates

  • Develop management reporting covering portfolio performance, market conditions, and policy compliance for leadership and board

  • Monitor FX exposure from international entities and vendors, and support hedging analysis and execution.

  • Automate repeatable treasury work such as cash positioning, bank reconciliations, and reporting using AI and workflow tools, while keeping people accountable for every approval and movement of money.

  • Prepare FBAR filings, manage letters of credit and bank guarantees, and support audit requests related to cash and investments.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years in corporate treasury, cash management, banking, audit, or strategic finance; high-growth technology or startup experience preferred

  • Experience with developing and managing an in-house investment program and market hedging

  • Working knowledge of cash forecasting, bank operations, payment rails, and short-duration fixed income.

  • Strong controls mindset and attention to detail: this role touches money movement, and accuracy is non-negotiable.

  • Clear written communication, sound escalation judgment, and comfort building process from scratch.

  • Nice to have: FX hedging, treasury management systems, debt or credit facilities, IPO and SOX readiness, or CTP, CFA, or CPA progress.
