What you'll do
- Calculate and enter withholding tax and VAT figures in Coretax, keeping submissions accurate and on schedule
- Prepare monthly and annual tax returns, along with monthly corporate income tax provisions
- File corporate income tax returns and issue withholding slips for counterparties
- Handle tax and external audit requests, answer SP2DK notices, and work with the Indonesian Tax Office
- Track changes to Indonesian tax rules and apply them to tax work
What you bring
- You hold an accounting bachelor’s degree and Brevet A and B certifications
- You bring at least four years as a tax accountant or in a similar position
- You understand Indonesian tax in depth and have handled large datasets
- You can use tax or accounting systems such as Coretax, Xero or Netsuite, plus MS Office

What you’ll do

Prepare, calculate, manage and ensure accurate and timely calculation and reporting into Coretax of Withholding tax (Wht 21, Wht 23, Wht 26, Wht 4(2)) and Value Added Tax (VAT/e-Faktur)

Prepare and review Monthly and Annual Tax Return (SPT Masa and SPT Tahunan)

Prepare monthly CIT provision

Prepare and file corporate income tax reporting (CIT) return

Issuing withholding tax slip (bukti potong / e-butot) and distribute them to counterparty

Assist with tax audits and examinations, external audits, and coordinate directly with the Indonesian Tax Office (KPP/DJP) to resolve tax related matters

Support tax audit, respond to SP2DK and manage correspondence with tax office

Monitor and stay updated on the latest Indonesian tax regulations
What we seek

Deadline-oriented and ability to stick to time constraints

Experienced in processing big data
What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

A minimum of 4 years experience as Tax Accountant or similar role (experienced from the - same industry or from Tax Consultant Company is preferred)

Brevet A & B

In-depth knowledge of Indonesian taxation

Familiar with tax and accounting software and systems (Coretax system / Xero / Netsuite)

Good understanding of MS Office
