What you'll do
- Prepare daily general-ledger entries and monthly balance-sheet reconciliations for the Japan and Korea entities
- Handle routine finance operations for both entities and follow the monthly close to deliver accurate, timely figures
- Help with internal and external audits, and support SOX control testing, documentation and findings follow-up
- Assist the Financial Accounting Manager with internal controls, compliance records and projects of moderate to complex scope
What you bring
- At least five years of accounting or financial management experience; public accounting experience is preferred
- You are proficient in spoken and written English and bring strong Microsoft Office skills
- You have a relevant degree or accounting credential, plus knowledge of rules such as SOX and US GAAP

Key Responsibilities
- Making the daily general ledger journal entries for Japan and Korea entities
- Prepare monthly reconciliation for B/S accounts response for.
- Assists in Internal and external audit related work.
- Follow monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
- In charge of Finance dailing operation works for Japan and Korea eneites
- Support the Financial Accounting Manager with the carry-out and document related to SOX control tests and report findings for timely resolution.
- Support the Financial Accounting Manager in implementing robust internal controls, monitoring compliance, and maintaining adequate documentation.
- Support the Financial Accounting Manager special projects of moderate to complex scope.
- Other support needed in Finance department
Job Qualifications
- As part of the finance team contributes to the accurate & timely completion of month end duties
- Works within a team environment & supports other members of the team as & when required
- Reports information accurately & in a timely fashion
- Proactively interprets the data and communicates with key personnel as required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business or related discipline, or professional accounting qualifications such like CPA, ACCA etc, is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of related Law and Regulations. Like SOX, US GAAP
- Minimum of 5 years of solid experience or more in accounting and financial management (Big 4 or Accounting Firm experience preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise and effective manner.
- Experience with highly integrated ERP systems (J.D. Edwards preferred)
- Must be proficient in English both oral and writing
