Who this fits
This six-month assignment suits someone with experience handling payment processing, account reconciliations, and customer billing questions. You must be eligible to work in Canada throughout the employment period; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
We are looking for an Accounting Service Representative to join our growing team!
This is a 6-month opportunity, offered as a secondment internally and a contract externally.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Accurately process and verify payments received, reconcile bank deposits, and verify deposit totals.
- Prepare payments for the automated chequing system.
- Record and post any manual payments in the registered accounting system.
- Prepare, compile, reports, and cheques.
- Review and resolve daily cash reports, correct and adjust journal entries, and process cheque requisition.
- Verify and post banking information, amend payment schedules, and process premium refunds for accounts.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Review daily cash reports and process cheque requisitions.
- Analyse and resolve exception payment reports.
- Address outstanding issues related to payments, disbursements, billing arrangements, payment methods, and account discrepancies.
What you will bring:
- College Diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Previous Halcion or Contact Billing experience (asset).
- Can consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed.
- Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Strong computer skills or training with standard office applications including strong data entry skills.
- No Canadian work experience required, however must be eligible to work in Canada.
