Role brief

financeroles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Build DTC forecasts around customer cohorts, acquisition costs, lifetime value, and retention-led revenue
  • Forecast retail P&L, product consumption, trade results, and promotional activity
  • Assess profit by SKU, channel, and account to inform pricing, trade, and investment choices
  • Run weekly and monthly cash forecasts, and turn recurring reviews with Marketing, Retail, and Ops into clear variance drivers and actions
  • Model new launches and channel growth, strengthen planning processes, contribute to board and investor reporting, and develop the FP&A team

What you bring

  • Seven to ten years in FP&A, with omni-channel consumer packaged goods experience strongly preferred
  • A record of creating repeatable planning processes rather than relying on one-off models
  • Hands-on capability with a modern data warehouse and a business intelligence tool, plus fluent use of AI for analysis and modeling
  • Experience developing team members and presenting clearly to senior leaders, in writing and conversation

Who this fits

This director-level role suits an experienced FP&A leader who enjoys detailed analysis, can make sound calls with incomplete information, and can turn numbers into practical guidance. You’ll lead the FP&A team, report to the SVP of Finance, and work with Marketing, Product, Retail, and Ops leaders. The role is fully remote in the United States.

From the employer

ABOUT EVERYDAY DOSE

Everyday Dose is a functional coffee company on a mission to help people feel better, think clearer, and perform at their best, without the crash that comes with regular coffee. We're a fast-growing, nine-figure D2C brand with a loyal, high-retention subscriber base, and we're scaling our retention function to match our ambitions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Head of FP&A to own forecasting, cash flow, and channel economics across a fast-growing, multi-channel business. You'll report to the SVP of Finance, lead our FP&A team, and act as the finance partner to Marketing, Product, Retail, and Ops leadership. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working in the data, not just reporting on it, who's comfortable operating with ambiguity and incomplete information, and who's energized by turning raw numbers into clear, actionable insight. You'll also be the person who takes our planning cycles from ad hoc to scalable and repeatable, building processes that hold up as we grow. This role is a fully remote role with headquarters in Austin, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • DTC financial modeling: cohort, CAC/LTV, and retention-driven revenue forecasting
  • Retail P&L, consumption planning & trade forecast: including trade performance and promotional forecasting
  • Channel profitability: analyze profitability by SKU, channel, and account to guide pricing, trade, and investment decisions
  • Cash flow & liquidity forecasting: the weekly and monthly cash model, end to end
  • Cross-functional BVA & forecast reviews: a recurring cadence with Marketing, Retail, and Ops leads, turning variance into clear drivers and next steps, not just a report-out
  • New product & channel investment modeling: build or gut-check the financial case for new launches, channel expansion, and other growth bets, partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Process & planning infrastructure: build scalable, repeatable processes that bring accuracy and speed to every planning cycle, not just this year's fire drill
  • Contribute to Board & investor reporting
  • Mentorship: help grow the team's skills and capabilities as the function matures

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7 to 10 years of FP&A experience, omni-channel CPG strongly preferred
  • Track record of building scalable, repeatable planning processes, not just one-off models
  • Comfortable working directly in a modern data warehouse plus a BI tool
  • Genuine fluency using AI tools to accelerate analysis and modeling
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to leadership

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Metabase, Looker, Drivepoint or a similar FP&A/BI platform
  • Comfortable writing code or scripts beyond SQL to speed up analysis
  • Exposure to a transaction process: M&A, PE-backed diligence, or QoE
