What you'll do

What you bring

- At least four years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Strong command of Indonesian accounting standards, close processes, reconciliations and financial controls
- Advanced Excel ability, practical ERP or accounting-system experience, and professional English and Bahasa Indonesia

Role purpose
Own accurate and timely accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting support, and control compliance. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Tax, and external auditors to ensure reliable books and decision-ready data.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and month-end closing activities.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure correct account mapping, documentation, and adherence to accounting policies.
- Reconcile bank, cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, inventory-related balances, and intercompany accounts; investigate variances promptly.
- Support preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, audit schedules, and statutory reporting.
- Review AP/AR transactions and ensure completeness, cut-off accuracy, and proper supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Tax on tax reconciliations and filings, and with auditors on audit requests and issue resolution.
- Strengthen internal controls, identify process risks, and drive practical improvements and automation.
- Coach junior accounting team members and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to manage deadlines independently.
- Professional English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.
Preferred
- Brevet A/B, CPA-track, or relevant professional certification.
- Experience supporting external audit, tax audit, and/or fixed-asset accounting.

- Accurate, on-time month-end close and reconciliations.
