What you'll do
- Handle daily accruals, variance reviews, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reconciliations
- Prepare loan draw packages, set up job costs and process development invoices for construction accounting
- Close corporate entities at month end, reviewing profit and loss, intercompany balances and weekly cash needs
- Keep financial reports accurate and aligned with GAAP or IFRS
What you bring
- At least five years of general ledger experience
- A commerce or accounting qualification, such as a B.Com, finance MBA or CA Inter
- Hands-on use of Yardi, MRI or JDE for property accounting work

Manage day-to-day activities related to the Accruals, Variance Analysis, Fixed Asset, Balance Sheet & Income statement Reconciliations
Experience working with construction accounting related to G/L review, loan draw package preparation, job cost set-up, handling development invoices, variance analysis and financial reporting
Experience working with corporate accounting performing month-end close for corporate entities, including accruals, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, P&L analysis, and weekly cash management
Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP / IFRS
Proficient in utilizing client ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, and JDE to perform a wide range of property accounting functions.
EDUCATION
B.Com / MBA (Finance)/ CA Inter/
Any equivalent degree in Commerce or Accounting
EXPERIENCE
5 - 10 years in General Ledger
